About Cyberpunga

Cyberpunga is a collective of artists, writers, and technologists exploring the intersection of technology, culture, and society through a third-world cyberpunk lens. We create digital art, writings, and experimental projects that reflect our unique perspective on the digital age.

Our name, "Cyberpunga," combines "cyber" with "punga," a term that in some Latin American contexts refers to something raw, unrefined, or DIY. This reflects our approach: creating cyberpunk expressions with limited resources but unlimited imagination.

Our Mission

We aim to explore and document the unique manifestations of technology in contexts often overlooked by mainstream cyberpunk narratives. Our work examines how digital technologies transform, empower, and sometimes oppress communities in the global south.

Through our collective, we seek to:
